Swedish

Swedish massage involves techniques like Effleurage, Petrissage (Kneading), Compression, Tapotement (Percussion), and Friction. Effleurage uses long, broad strokes, varying in pressure, speed, and rhythm. It helps warm tissue, distribute lubricants, improve blood flow, and relax the nervous system. Swedish massage is ideal for new clients, allowing therapists to assess tissue, bony landmarks, temperature differences, or tight areas.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue massage varies for each person, depending on their pain levels and muscle build. While it's often associated with intense pressure, the key lies in the therapist's ability to listen, feel, and think through the process. The focus is on detecting and addressing tension in specific muscles, and moving from one muscle to the next. Pressure does play a role, but sometimes lighter pressure is more effective in releasing muscle tension.

Thai (Table/Floor)

Known as “lazy man’s yoga,” Thai massage is an ancient practice from Thailand that combines stretching, acupressure, reflexology, meditation, and aromatherapy to promote relaxation and healing. By targeting energy lines, the nervous system, and connective tissue, it helps lengthen muscles, improve flexibility, increase joint mobility, boost circulation and immune function, balance energy flow, and reduce muscle tension. Thai massage also supports the skin, sinuses, respiratory system, and heart, offering a holistic approach to physical and mental well-being, whether performed on a table or floor mat.

Integrative

Integrated massage is one of the most common—and my favorite—techniques I offer. It’s a customized blend of Thai, Deep Tissue, and Swedish massage, combining the stretching and energy work of Thai, the muscle-targeting focus of Deep Tissue, and the soothing, fluid strokes of Swedish. This fusion creates a balanced experience tailored to your body’s specific needs, promoting both deep relaxation and lasting relief.

Prenatal

Prenatal massage offers mothers a chance to slow down, relax, and nourish themselves during pregnancy. It helps reduce common aches and pains as the body expands to accommodate the baby, while also easing muscle tension, spasms, cramps, and myofascial discomfort. This gentle therapy aids in stress reduction, promotes relaxation, and decreases strain on weight-bearing joints. Additionally, increased blood and lymph circulation can help reduce swelling. Beyond physical benefits, prenatal massage provides emotional support, nurturing both the mother and her baby.

Add-On’s

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot stones boost blood flow, speeding up healing by delivering more oxygen and nutrients to tissues while triggering an immune response. The heat relaxes the nervous system, easing tension, pain, inflammation and improving muscle flexibility.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping uses suction to increase blood flow, reduce pain and inflammation, and release muscle tension. It promotes relaxation, supports cell repair, and may help flush out toxins through the lymphatic system, enhancing overall well-being.
